What is UeDNC?
Our sister company Uebrick Solutions, LLC is proud to introduce UeDNC.
UeDNC was created as a simple, yet powerful, CNC G-Code library software for CNC Mill, Lathe, and Wire/Plunge EDM. It is used here at Absolute Machine, LLC by our programmers, and in the cell by our operators (RS232 communications is also included).
It utilizes familiar interfaces such as File Explorer and opening multiple documents via Tab Control, keeping the learning curve minimal.
UeDNC v3.3 is scheduled to be released Q4, 2024.

File Saving Features
A few file saving features have been added to help eliminate lost and over-written files:
- Backup files are created when a .NC file is saved after editing.
- O number of an existing file is compared to the current file before over-writing the file.
- UeCompare feature is included to view revision changes.
- Create a Revision via USB import or RS232 Receive.
File Open Options
UeDNC is not just a text editor.
You can open and view the following file types:
- Image Files
- PDF Files
- .NC (Fanuc/Haas G Code)
- .TXT (ASCII text files)
The Root Directory (Explorer) can be selected as a cloud folder, network folder, or a local folder.

G18 Mill Code Sample.
G17/G18/G19 Mill Planes are supported.
Also, Basic stock outlines can be added to help visually confirm your code.
Wire EDM Code Sample.
In this EDM spline sample, the selected blocks of code are highlighted orange in the backplot graphics view.
Lathe Code Sample.
In this thread deburr sample, the G92 thread code block is selected so the backplot thread is highlighted.
